Seasonal jobs

Each year, we recruit multiple people to work the harvest with us at our Te Awamutu or Te Puke grain drying sites, from around mid-March to July.

Viterra supports New Zealand maize growers through the whole process from crop establishment to harvest and delivery.

Once growers are harvesting, we work closely with them to organise a time to deliver into our drying facility. From there we test the maize on delivery and run it through the drying plant.

As a harvest worker, you will assist us in this process, working in a supportive and friendly team environment.

A harvest job with Viterra is ideal for anyone looking for seasonal work, work outside their studies, or to gain work experience.

Join us this season and enjoy varied duties, including:

  • Weighbridge operations
  • Grain quality testing
  • General grain plant duties
  • Forklift operations

We provide training for all roles.
